IBM Cognos ReportNet Framework Manager Training Course Outline

Audience: IT Administrators and Business Analysts

Brief:
This course is geared towards technical users who will be responsible for creating the development environment for both Business Authors and Professional Report Authors. This includes the development and management of the metadata layer, integration with other Cognos modules, and establishing connections to relevant data sources.

Course Notes:
This course is delivered using a general IBM Cognos 8 demo application as the basis for the workshops, examples, and class discussion. If desired, custom courseware using client’s data may also be created. There is an additional fee for customization of the course materials.

Recommended Prerequisites:
IBM Cognos 8 – Query Studio and Report Studio, plus familiarity with Windows and the core Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc) is desirable.
